Show 'n Shine XXII

Show 'n Shine XXII is now history.   The quality of the weather was judged "best ever" with temperatures in the mid 70s and a clear sky.  The quality of the venue in Boca,  with lots to do, great facilities and a "cozy" show field again accommodated all entrants.   The quality of the cars on display prompted lots of superlatives, and again showed you've been working hard on them all winter. We thank all who participated.  About 82 cars were on the field to be judged, plus a number of vendors set up shop.  Member's cars were in the visitor parking along with numerous VW owners who just came to check out the event.

As usual the event went at a crisp pace.  Despite the time change, and keeping registration open for an additional half hour,  classing was completed at 11:30, and judging began shortly thereafter.  The awards presentations began at 2:30 sharp. and by 3:30, most smiling participants were on their way home with their personalized plaques.

We thank the Antique Automobile Club of America, Fort Lauderdale Region for their help in judging, the staff of Sugar Sand Park for being so helpful and accommodating and of course our sponsors who made the event possible.
