The Caravan: 6 shiny VWs left Krispy Kreme in Boynton Beach promptly at 12:15 and maintained a constant speed of 35 to 70 mph thru the scenic I-95 construction zones of Palm Beach County. Pete joined the caravan at the St. Lucie West Mickey D's and once again, Dawn, Mike, and Jeanne perfectly executed the rolling merge intercept near Ft. Pierce. 9 VWs completed the trip to Melbourne on Saturday.
The Pre-event Party: 6 PM, & the party started at the show site. Great food, camaraderie, & the famous trivia contest followed. El Presidente promptly got banned from the contest after correctly answering so many questions, no one else was getting any prizes. Here's some pix taken before it got dark.
The Meeting: Something important was probably discussed.
The Show: Well once again SFVWC showed up with a bunch (12 VWs, ~25 members with family), and took a bunch of awards (10 I think). Here's some SFVWC VWs (sorry, didn't get photos of all)
And last but not least, Mike figured out the
right lucky charms to have along, to bring him a 1st in Class,
(Namely Megan & Mary)
