Highlights of recent events:

GAVC hosted their annual Volkstoberfest VII pre-event party yeilding this "last supper" (before the trivia contest) picture. 8 vehicles in the caravan up, joining 2 members there, got the weekend off to a great start. For pix of the show and members in action, click here.

SFVWC hosted its first Volkswagens at the Mall free car show on Oct 23 at the Fashion Mall at Plantation. Check out the results here.

Memorial Day found many SFVWC members at LOVE's (Loyal Order of Volkswagen Enthusiasts) annual Vee Dub Fest in Estero. Lots of prizes made the trek home on Alligator Alley this day. Check out some sights--> VeeDub VI

May started out with a "Love-In" at Greynolds Park in North Miami. Enlarging the picture to the right will prove El Presidents got the order in right and on time. More pix here.

March, time for our annual Show 'n Shine, so # XXI went off flawlessly at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton. See the results at S 'n S XXI.

December means a SFVWC Holiday Party, See some of the Holiday spirit here.

November's real business meeting was held at McNab Foreign Car. It was a November feast that even made the turkey happy. If your looking for minutes, don't look here.

October in South Florida, what else, the annual road trip to the GAVWC Volkstoberfest in Melbourne and the annual trip back with lots of awards. Check it out at Volkstoberfest V.

Making up for the rained out August meeting, a good crowd shows up at Crabby Jack's on 9/21 for a 2-1/2 hour social hour (& oh yeah, we had a short meeting for the "hangers on" shown here>).

That's neat, What is it?

Hang around the Garage long enough and someone's always found something new to show off. Often you'll hear "where did you find that?", "How much did it cost?", or "What is it?". So as part of the SFVWC ongoing education program, we had a contest. We're currently on hiatus so our members without A/C in their VWs can enjoy the weather, but you can review the monthly questions and answers on our contest page.
